ramen

Ramen is popular across Japan and this usually refers to Chinese style noodles. Most of the times, ramen will be served in hot miso soup or similar other soups. Servings are usually hot and a little heavy.

misoshiru

Misoshiru is miso soup and is prepared by mixing stock and fermented soy bean seasoning. Usually a little salty and spicy.

chashu

chashu is pork slice roasted and tendered by boiling in soups and served along with ramen or separately.

ajitama

Ajitama stands for ajitsuke tamago; ie, eggs flavored with different tastes like that of Soy sauce, vinegar etc. Egg yolk is half boiled and renders an attractive glossy red and orange mix colour. Its a real fun to eat this tender egg.

moyashi

Moyashi is simply bean sprouts and is a common ingredient of ramen. moyashi gets cooked a little when in hot hot ramen soup and its a pleasing experience biting moyashi along with soup and ramen.
