The simplest chicken recipe ever. Kozhi Nivedyam is believed to be served in Kaavu of Northern Kerala. Recipe is adjusted to cook in Japan.
Chicken - 500 gms
Coconut thread - 1/2 cup
Salt - To taste (~1 spoon)
Turmeric powder - ~1 spoon
Pepper powder - ~2 spoons
Oil - 50 ml
Cut chicken into small pieces. Heat the oil in pan (Coconut oil is the best). Add Coconut thread and stir until colour turns brown. Add chicken and mix well. Add salt, turmeric powder, pepper powder and mix well on high flame. After mixing, lower the flame, put the lid on pan and cook for 15~20 minutes. After 15~20 minutes, remove the lid and turn the flame high. Stir well for 2~3 minutes. Delicious Kozhi Nivedyam is ready. Enjoy with some hot hot rice.
