I got a good chance to meet Sree Pinarayi Vijayan, EP Jayarajan and AK Saseendran in Japan. First time in my life. Thanks to Indian Embassy and Nihon Kairali for arranging this opportunity. I thought it may not be easy to meet such people so close when we are in our home country.
When Sree Pinarayi Vijayan entered the hall, I was a little surprised to see his attire. He was in suit which is in contrast to his usual Kerala style attire. Also, I was surprised to see EP Jayarajan and AK Saseendran. Because I had no clue that they were together with Chief Minister in this trip. That came as a double dhamaka 🙂
When ministers entered the hall, a video was played highlighting different activities and supports done by Nihon Kairali to Malayalee community and even to Japanese communities when in trouble.
After the video, Indian Ambassador Sanjay Kumar Verma invited ministers to the stage and chief minister to address the gathering. Chief minister started his speech by cracking a joke on abundance of Malayalee associations across the globe. During his speech he clearly explained his government's achievements and future plans for further growth and development. Until I heard him speaking in front of me, I had a different impression about him like he is a tough man, not so soft toned etc. But he was so graceful when he was giving the speech. Great experience for me.
After the speech, minister distributed prizes to children who won different competitions in Japan.
Then each group was given a chance to take photo with ministers, an opportunity to have a close look at the dignitaries.
After photo session, all moved for a fine dinner arranged by Indian Embassy.
Another experience that filled my heart was meeting some people who used to watch my videos. I was so happy to know that there are people who watch my videos and think its pretty decent. Thanks all; that will fuel me a lot 🙂
